I’m Hiba Basheer, an early years educator, crafter, culinary explorer, and home baker. My passion lies in nurturing children, indulging in art, and exploring the world of food—an exquisite combination!
Originally from Talashery, I was born and raised in Dubai and currently reside in Abu Dhabi. I feel blessed to have my parents, sister, in-laws, and extended family in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, keeping our weekends bustling with gatherings. It’s during these times that I enjoy experimenting with new dishes I discover online and sharing them with loved ones. Now, they’ve come to expect something different from the usual fare.
My love for cooking extends to my little cousins and friends, who eagerly join me in the kitchen to whip up new creations. This shared joy inspired me to start cooking activities for both children and adults. Cooking, to me, is an activity that transcends age barriers and brings people together.
In my kitchen, fondly known as ‘Crumbs and Chatters,’ I host interactive and engaging baking workshops for adults, teens, and children as young as 4 years old. It’s a space where culinary exploration meets lively conversation, creating unforgettable experiences for all involved.
